On an early and crisp October morning, I arrived at Fish Lake Park to meet the Ogren family. Jeremy had reached out to schedule a session to get updated family photos to celebrate Kelly’s birthday.
It’s been over six years since I captured Kelly and Jeremy’s intimate backyard wedding. It never fails to amazing me how fast time can fly by!
Their boys, Aaron and Ben, are just as I remember - only taller! - and the bond this family shares has only grown stronger since the last time I got to see them.
As a special surprise, the boys got to bring along their cousins to guest star in the family photo shoot which resulted in some pretty fun memories!
We had tons of fun trekking through the park and playing with all the freshly fallen leaves.
Even though years had passed since the last time I saw this wonderful family, our session felt like a relaxing walk in the woods with old friends.
We soaked in all the glorious fall colors while catching up on current events; discussing the challenges of school and work in the COVID-19 era and exchanging ideas for how to pass the upcoming months of cold and isolation that we’re all facing.
It’s such a blessing to have clients like the Ogren family and to be able to share in celebrations together like we did for Kelly’s birthday.
