A couple weekends ago I met the Brumbaugh family on an ideal warm and golden fall evening at Ritter Farm Park. It technically wasn’t that long ago but looking out my window tonight at the winter wonderland my neighborhood has become, it feels like months have passed!
I hadn’t seen the Brumbaugh family since Soren’s 1 year smash session at the beginning of the year. Since I last saw him, this charming little man has grown so much. He has mastered the art of running and has also become very diligent about picking up sticks in the spirit of helping with yard work.
I’ve been lucky enough to know Soren since he was born. It’s so fun to watch him grow up into the wonderful little man he is. He’s always been so calm and sweet, and now it is positively magical to see how his eyes light up as he explores the world that is expanding around him.
You can tell that Mom and Dad are clearly Soren’s favorite people in the whole wide world (and rightfully so because they are awesome!), but he is also a curious and outgoing little love. He got so much joy out of saying hi and waving to the other people and dogs in the park during our session. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this little dude; I especially can’t wait until he finds more of his words because I have a feeling he’ll have some pretty awesome things to say.
