Remember fall colors? Me too…barely. Our Minnesota fall sure was nice while it lasted.
Believe it or not, Nathanael's senior photos were taken just two weeks ago. It was a quintessential fall day… warm, golden light, with crisp clean air. Much different from today!!
I met Nathanael and his mom Christina (my 2nd cousin) in the Wood Rill Scientific & Natural Area to go for a nice walk in the woods and take his senior photos.
The musical talent in this family is so impressive. Chris has the most beautiful singing voice and blessed us with it earlier this year at my Grandmother’s funeral service. Nathanael has similar musical talents and brought along his violin to feature in his photos. He’s been playing for years and I’ll be honest - these are some of my favorite photos I’ve taken so far this season!
We also made a pit stop at their home to grab a couple photos with their pup Ranger and N’s hunting gear in the backyard…. that is after Ranger stopped running laps around us!!
What an absolute pleasure to spend the afternoon tramping through the woods, taking pictures, and catching up with family. I’m so fortunate to have these moments and memories, and so thankful to be able to look back and remember the stunning, albeit brief, fall we had this year.
